October 21–23, 2026 | Keqiao, Shaoxing, China
From October 21 to 23, 2026, the Naying Textile team took part in the Advanced Training Program on High-End Textile Products and Frontier Technologies at the China Textile City Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park in Keqiao, Shaoxing. The program brought together professionals from across the textile and apparel industry to exchange knowledge on advanced textile products, emerging processes, and differentiated fabric development.
The program was organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, hosted by the Zhejiang Modern Textile Technology Innovation Center, and co-organized by Hangzhou Shangqi Technology Co., Ltd. As a 2026 provincial-level advanced training program for professional and technical talent, it covered topics including advanced knitting products and technologies, sustainable development trends in high-tech textiles, and strategies for developing high-grade functional fabrics and increasing their market value. Case studies also explored new-material commercialization and differentiated fabric research.
Exploring Advanced Processes and New Development Possibilities
In a session titled Advanced Knitting Products and Frontier Technologies, Professor Cong Honglian of Jiangnan University discussed developments in knitting technology. Warp-knitting machines are advancing toward higher gauges, including E50 and E44, creating new possibilities for fabric structures and finer visual effects. Jacquard knitting is also finding applications beyond traditional apparel, extending to blankets, terry fabrics, industrial uses, and architectural textiles.

These topics were relevant to Naying Textile’s ongoing interest in lace, warp-knitted materials, and other specialty fabrics. During the program, the team focused on subjects such as high-gauge warp-knitted lace, jacquard and combined structures, warp- and weft-knitting combinations, and filament-core-spun yarns. The team also exchanged views with instructors and industry peers on fabric hand feel, pattern definition, and the potential of combining different processes.
For Naying, the value of learning about new technologies goes beyond understanding machinery or processes. It also involves exploring how these technologies may work with design concepts, fabric aesthetics, and end-use requirements to create more options for product development. The topics discussed during the program offered useful reference points for further exploring structures and process combinations in lace, embroidered fabrics, warp-knitted fabrics, and other specialty textiles.

Developing Differentiated Fabrics Around Market Needs
Discussions on sustainable textile development, differentiated functional fabrics, and market value also encouraged the team to consider the relationship between technical development and customer demand.
Naying Textile develops and supplies fancy fabrics for overseas customers, including embroidered fabrics, lace, sequined fabrics, and other specialty textiles. In customer collaborations, fabric development often involves several considerations: design concepts, pattern effects, fabric structure, process feasibility, intended application, and market positioning. Keeping up with industry trends and emerging processes helps the team discuss potential development directions more comprehensively when customers bring forward new ideas.

A session by Dr. Sun Li on Differentiated Functional Fabric Development Based on Consumer Demand Forecasting offered further perspectives on the relationship between consumer needs, product development, and market value. Naying will continue to take a customer-oriented approach, exploring ways to connect design ideas with practical process options and develop fabrics that better align with customers’ product goals.
Continuous Learning to Support Product Development
The three-day program gave the Naying team an opportunity to learn about industry developments, exchange professional perspectives, and broaden its understanding of knitting technologies, fabric structures, and differentiated product development.
Based in Keqiao, Shaoxing, and serving overseas markets, Naying Textile is a fancy fabric supplier and exporter. The company will continue to follow textile technology and design trends while exploring development possibilities in embroidered fabrics, lace, sequined fabrics, and other specialty textiles in line with its product focus and customer needs. Naying also looks forward to maintaining exchanges with universities, industry experts, and supply-chain partners, translating useful technical insights into broader development ideas and more effective customer collaboration.
